DO NOT MISS OUT! AMAZING THINGS ARE COMING!

Still Teaching

May 11, 2024

Becoming a coach gave me the freedom to continue to teach outside of a traditional classroom setting. I knew I always wanted to be a teacher but once I entered the classroom, things quickly changed for me. A childhood dream certainly came true but the adult Lillian was not satisfied with the career choice.

Fast forward to 2024, I am happy I made the difficult but easy choice to believe in myself. Truth is, if I don’t believe in myself, no one else will.

There are times I miss the consistency of what to expect next but it is one of the things I had to give up. I am glad I did. What I learned from all of this is that the only stable thing we can have is ourselves. The journey we embark on from birth to death is one that only includes one person for sure.

If you are not happy with yourself, you won’t be happy in any relationship, career, job, town, or event. Heck, you won’t even be happy on vacation! Happiness is a choice, one that is made day in and day out, regardless of how “hard” life is. Life isn’t too hard. Our brains, however, have been wired to believe things are hard when in actuality life is beautiful and we complicate things. We learn to complicate life. The good news is that we can retire our brains at any point in our lives. Don’t let the limited studies on children versus cults tell YOU what YOU are capable of. Pretty sure that you weren’t a part of those studies that allege children learn faster. Children forget fast too. ;-)

Teaching adults proved to be easier because adults who learn want to learn and when someone really wants something, they don’t let anything stop them. Hence, changing settings didn’t stop me from continuing to do what I love. I love to see the lightbulb go off and see how my clients stop hiding behind others and start to come out of their shells with joy and confidence. It’s so rewarding to teach others to get to a point in their lives where they find their path to joy and can always tap into it when tested.

Teaching continues to be a huge part of my life and I look forward to helping others learn the many ways to deal with their perspectives on life so they too can live their best life!
